Launching Scholars. Building Leaders.

Transforming Baltimore One Young Woman at a Time.

The College & Career Office is the pillar of BLSYW and the mission. Through personalized advising, experiential learning, dual enrollment, career exposure, and scholarship support, we equip every scholar with the tools and confidence to thrive in college, career, and beyond.

Our Vision

Every Scholar. Every Pathway. Every Possibility.

We believe access to opportunity should never be determined by gender. Our College & Career Success model ensures that every scholar graduates with a clear postsecondary plan, real-world experience, and the academic preparation to succeed that expands gender norms.

We focus on:

    • College access
    • College preparation
    • Career exploration
    • Career readiness
    • Dual enrollment

Our Approach

We do not approach the work as a senior-year checklist. We are strategic and intentional. We use a four-pillar approach to give students postsecondary confidence. Beginning in middle school and intensifying through senior year, our model combines early exposure, academic acceleration, personalized advising, and real-world experiences to transform aspiration into achievement.
